CONICA, American coaching association form partnership

The Swiss outdoor sports flooring leader and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association will work together in support of the sports

CONICA, a Switzerland-based worldwide leader in sports and recreational flooring production, is pleased to announce a new supporting partnership with the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The three-year agreement between CONICA and USTFCCCA, beginning Feb. 1, 2023, is a logical move for both organizations in enhancing the advocacy and assistance of bringing the best to the sports of track & field and cross country.

“As an industry frontrunner in providing indoor and outdoor flooring systems, we are thrilled to support USTFCCCA,” said Billy Jenkins, managing director of CONICA USA. “This collaboration will not only strengthen our expansion efforts into the United States but also allow us an opportunity to support the coaches who work tirelessly to ensure all track & field and cross country participants have the most useful tools and backing to excel in their athletics.”

As part of the agreement, CONICA and USTFCCCA will partner in advertising and marketing efforts. CONICA will also participate in USTFCCCA’s annual convention.

“The supporter partnership is a natural fit. We are creating a collaboration between two entities that are passionate in providing assistance to track & field and cross country sports on the collegiate and high school levels,” said Sam Seemes, CEO of USTFCCCA.”CONICA’s reputation of high-quality products for athletes mirrors our commitment and responsibility to the coaches who champion for them.”

The USTFCCCA, headquartered in New Orleans, represents thousands of coaching members across the country through all three divisions of the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) track and field programs, including the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes (NAIA) and the National Junior College Athletic As sociation (NJCAA). The nonprofit also serves many statewide high school coaching associations. USTFCCCA’s mission is to support the coaching membership and the stakeholders with interest in cross country and track & field.
